Thermoreactors are required for the determination of COD, total nitrogen or total phosphorus. They ensure complete digestion of the sample, as they maintain the necessary high reaction temperature throughout the defined period. In each of the WTW thermoreactors, the most important temperatures and digestion times are stored in 8, easily selectable digestion programs.
Cuvette shafts : 2x12 cuvette shafts for round cuvettes, 16 ± 0.2 mm outer diameter Reaction time setting : 20 min, 30 min, 60 min, 120 min (via fixed programs) Temperature setting : 25 - 170°C freely programmable - 100 °C, 120 °C, 148 °C, 150 °C via fixed programs Overtemperature protection : 190 °C ± 5 °C Regulating accuracy : ± 1 °C ± 1 digit Temperature stability : ± 0.5 K Energy supply : 230 VAC 50 Hz ± 15 % / optional 115 VAC 60 Hz ± 15 %
The DRB200 thermostat ideally complements the Hach reagents (COD, TOC, Test 'N' tube). Two separately controllable heating blocks enable cuvettes and reaction vessels to be digested at identical or different temperatures and time settings. The heating blocks heat from ambient to 150 degrees in less than 10 minutes. The DRB200 has a digital timer with an automatic switch-off and acoustic signal and the two transparent splash protection lids close the thermostat while it is heating
